Hi girls,

I have a bit of an unusual request. When I moved to America I sent all my Zuka books in a box, which the post office lost. They are now asking me to send pictures of the books so they can attempt to find them. I've managed to get most of the pictures from the Hankyu Books website, but they don't have pictures of the programs. The programs I still need pictures of are:

Elisabeth (new Snow version)
Elisabeth (new Moon version)
Dal Lake no Koi (new Moon version)
The Rose of Versailles: Gerodel/Miroirs

Adieu Marseille
Me and My Girl (Sena Jun version)
El Halcon/Revue Orchis

Zorro/Kaze no Nishikie
A Magician's Misfortunes/Mahoroba
Solomon's Ring/La Mariposa

If anyone happens to have pictures of these on hand or knows where to find them, I'd really appreciate it!

EDIT:  Got them all!  Thanks for your help everyone!

If you find yourself at the crossroads of insomnia and insanity, this is the place to channel those demons that keep you sleepless. Vivid pictures, poetry, ruminations, and confessions from the nether hours between dusk and dawn. Originally formed to celebrate the city at night, there's a strong urban theme.

Self-described as "a little community with a lot of rage," you can soak up impassioned vibes and read blistering exposes detailing sexist attitudes in the news, pop culture, and science! A must-join community if you are, or love, a feminist. (NB: the topic of whether a "man" can be a feminist is outside the scope of this spotlight, but will probably wind up on the Writer's Block.)

Could anyone, who has that DVD tell me, is it a double-layered 8gb DVD, or one-layered 4gb DVD?
Thank you.

2009 cleaning...

So I may be making a couple of posts over these days about giving away/selling stuff. I need my room space back *laughs*

So the first things on the list are calenders. I'm giving away pages from them and all I ask for is for shipping costs.

The Takarazuka Stage Calender 2009

Please keep in mind the pages are double sided. Only one not available is the page with Nanaho Hikaru (Sena Juna - Me and My Girl).

The Takarazuka Desktop Calender 2009

Same thing applies. Double sided and the only two not available are the cover with Nanaho Hikaru (Kaname) and page with Aoki Izumi (Ranju Tomu).

The Takarazuka Desktop Calender 2008

Only two not available are Nanaho Hikaru (Matobu Sei) and Aoki Izumi (Oozora Yuuhi).

Leave a comment if you are interested!

Preview pictures are available upon request.

Hikaru Asami's Primary Colors

  • Jan. 3rd, 2010 at 1:52 PM
I have my eye on an auction for Hikaru Asami's post Zuka career show Primary Colors

Does anyone know any details about it or whether it's worth getting?

Thanks!
Sunday was the final performance of Last Play / Heat on Beat in Tokyo.

During the final speech and bows, Sena Jun (35) came down the Grand Staircase in a black tailcoat and received her classmate flowers (white roses) from Takashiro Kei.

"There were many roles that I was allowed to perform, but the role that I most wanted was "Takarazuka otokoyaku". In this moment now I'll gather my courage and step out into a new world alone. With love, I thank you for these 18 years," she said while facing the audience.

There were 7 curtain calls.

At the press conference immediately after she said, "I'm very happy that I could graduate without incident. Takarazuka was my entire youth. It was my everything." In answer to a question on what was the one thing she wanted to take with her from Takarazuka, she answered: "Love."

Asked what words she would leave behind for her troupe, she replied: "Don't worry about anything. Enjoy yourselves. My hope is that the underclassmen continue to grow."

Asked why her bouquet was white roses this time, while her Grand Theater bouquet was red, she replied that red roses are her image of an otokoyaku, but for the end she decided white was best.

Because she gave her bouquet, rose by rose, to the audience and members of her troupe, she had no bouquet during the sayonara parade. About 8000 people were present to watch the parade.

Her fan club (about 800 were there for her) thanked her for her 18 years, ending with: "We love you!" To which she shouted back, "I love you too!"

As a side-note I'd just like to add that everyone looked beautiful and so very happy. Takarazuka magic. .... And Asako arrived in the morning in a car that looked like this. ;)

Hii I just joined here, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules lol.
I reallly love Riyoko Ikeda, Rose of Versailles and anything Takarazuka especially Rose of Versailles, Phantom of the Opera and Elizabeth.
I have been searching high and low, does anyone know where I can download any clips with Rosalie and Oscar in Rose of Versailles (Takarazuka)? I have a dvd but it's the Oscar and Andre version so no Rosalie love.
Any help would be appreciated!-Silver

I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Mine was very busy with moving to a new home but things are finally calming down, which is great!

Of course this also means its time for me to clear out some of the collection again to make room for more!

As always I only accept paypal. Shipping in the US will be $7.00 for 2 DVDs or 1 VHS tape by priority mail. It will be a bit more if you get more things. I am always happy to ship internationally but that will run you $13.00 for 2 DVDs or 1 VHS tape (again, slightly more if you want more things).

Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions or want better pictures! (delilah_desora@yahoo.com)
